This club has been active since 1998, and currently enjoys a membership of over 100.

Goals and Objectives
Promote the interests of the Democratic Party.
Support Democratic candidates.
Elect Democrats, and give them loyal and active support.
Meetings and Membership
The DWPA general meeting is held on the fourth Wednesday of each month other than August and December. The luncheon meeting is held at 10:30 AM at the Stoneridge Country Club Grill on Rte. 69, Prescott. A speaker is featured and lunch is $15.00.

Scholarships and Awards
DWPA Scholarship: DWPA will grant a $500 scholarship to a promising senior headed for college.
This senior must be attending a school within the Prescott, Chino Valley, or Prescott
Valley city limits. The parent(s) must be registered Democrat(s). In May of 2013,
the DWPA will present the scholarship award at its general meeting. Two family
members will be invited with the recipient.
Emerge Award: In January of 2013, the Emerge Award of $500 will be presented
to a politically active woman that is 21 years of age or older, residing in Arizona,
and a registered Democrat. Applicants must complete an Emerge application
and include a resume, two letters of recommendation, and a description of her
involvement in a local political movement, club, or committee. Contact Toni Denis,
