Fundraising Update
Democrats fight for EVERY Arizonan !
It has been just over a month since we wrapped up our fall 2012 fundraiser, but we are already underway with planning for the spring fundraiser, tentatively scheduled for February 2013. Keeping all of our events and activities up and running as well as maintaining our YCDP headquarters office year round requires a ton of volunteer hours
and approximately $30,000 in expenditures. Our entire operation is supported through donations, contributions and volunteer effort. The Executive Board met recently to lay out a fundraising calendar for 2013. In addition to the Spring Fundraiser in February, we will have two other major fundraising events-the summer picnic in July and the Truman Clinton event in the fall as well as at least one auction, and a book sale. We will continue to have raffles at each county meeting and will conduct the annual giving campaign solicitation in the spring. Thanks to your collective support, we will end 2012 “in the black”. I hope we can count on your generosity again in 2013 as we continue to spread the Democratic message, elect Democrats to public office and move Arizona Forward.
